1 year full-time, up to 8 years part-time
This programme aims to produce engineers who are highly skilled in the techniques of manufacturing management and its related technologies. This will provide the basis for effective careers as managers who can meet the challenges of the rapidly changing global manufacturing industry.

Assessment
Examinations in January and May, with coursework throughout the programme. Project assessed by written report, presentation and exhibition.
Entry Qualification*
Upper second class honours degree in any engineering discipline, or HND with appropriate industrial experience. Applicants with a lower second class honours degree will be considered on a case by case basis.
Careers and Further Study
Within national or multinational manufacturing industry companies working as Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer, Systems Analyst and Software Development Specialist. Graduates may also study for an MPhil/PhD with the School’s research groups.
