The programme provides a thorough coverage of the basic principles and techniques needed to design and develop the next generation of digital communication systems.

Such systems are continuing to transform the ease with which information can be accessed across the globe and are underpinning the digital economy.

Assessment

Examinations in January and May, with coursework throughout the programme. Project assessed by written report and viva voce in September.

Entry Qualification*

Upper second class honours degree in electronic/ electrical engineering, physics or an equivalent qualification or equivalent industrial experience. Applicants with a good lower second class honours degree will also be considered. Candidates holding CEI Part II admitted.
