This programme is designed for graduates in chemistry or a closely related discipline who wish to specialise in environmental science or environmental analysis.

Entry Qualifications*
Lower second class honours degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a closely related subject. Other qualifications may be considered if the candidate has relevant industrial experience.
Careers and Further Study
Careers in a wide variety of industries including environmental management/consultancy, national laboratories, regulatory authorities, chemical and instrument companies; a proportion go on to study for a PhD.

Sponsorship and Scholarships
With the exception of MSc Environmental Studies a number of bursaries and scholarships are available to UK and EU students covering tuition fees. Departmental bursaries (in the form of fee reduction) are available to self-funded international students.
The programmes also benefit from industrial sponsorship which provides support in the form of equipment, materials, presenters and project placements.
