Loughborough University has developed a unique and flexible degree-level course on innovation and enterprise especially for 16-18 year olds. The course will enable you to find out more about entrepreneurs and innovators, learn how to spot opportunities and how to transform bright ideas into tangible projects

About us

The School of Business and Economics is consistently ranked in the UK top 10 for management and business courses.

The School is home to the Glendonbrook Centre for Enterprise Education which delivers courses about entrepreneurship and innovation management to students studying different subjects across the University.

Loughborough’s reputation for excellent teaching and enterprise-rich courses is world-wide and as such the University attracts students from across the globe.

Experts from the School of Business and Economics have developed this e-course designed to be completed in five to six weeks. You are given the option to create your own business plan in week six.

You will learn by watching videos, listening to audio, reading articles and engaging with other learners in discussion activities on an online forum. You should expect to spend between one and two hours a week on the course.

The course can be completed on a mobile, tablet or desktop computer. All you need is access to the internet. Each week you will take a short multiple choice test about the material you have studied.

If you achieve 80% and over you will receive a Loughborough University Statement of Accomplishment certificate.

Throughout the course you will learn about a range of entrepreneurs. In the final section of the course you will hear from entrepreneurial graduates from Loughborough University who are keen to share their stories and offer advice and top tips to budding entrepreneurs.
