Information for students with disabilities
The Counselling and Disability Service (CDS) is here to provide support, advice and guidance to disabled students. We also work with staff to promote good practice and develop an inclusive environment at Loughborough University.
CDS works to support students with any difficulty which is having a disabling impact on their studies. This might include, but is not limited to:
- specific learning differences (i.e. dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalulia), AD(H)D;
- Asperger’s Syndrome;
- visual or hearing impairments;
- medical conditions (including for example, epilepsy, diabetes, cancer and HIV);
- mental health difficulties;
- physical disabilities
Further information on how the service can help new students is available on the Counselling and Disabilities Service website.
