Your first days
The information in these sections will help you know where you need to be and what you need to do when you arrive at the University. The most important things are:
- finding your accommodation
- collecting your ID card
- attending your departmental registration/induction session
- ensuring you're familiar with the contents of the Student Handbook.
The interactive campus map will be a useful tool in your first few weeks on campus. In addition to searching for buildings by name, many of the common teaching rooms are searchable. For example, searching for 'T003' will show it is in the Wolfson School and provide you with a location for the building.
Finally, you should ensure you are familiar with all of the information in the Student Handbook (which can be found on the main Welcome to Loughborough page). This contains guides to studying at Loughborough and information about the most commonly used support services and recreational facilities.
