Submit your University Medal nominations now

With the Honorary Degree and University Medal Committee meeting in February, members of staff are encouraged to nominate exceptional individuals for Loughborough University Medals.
Nominations must be submitted by Friday 10 February. Chosen candidates will receive their awards at the graduation ceremonies from this summer onwards.
The University Medal is an award that is open to all members and employees and recognises an exceptional service made by the candidate for the University.
This can cover any field and focus on a number of criteria including; the nominee’s impact on the life or spirit of the University, their duration of employment, unstinting and caring service especially to others (staff, students or externally on behalf of the University) and going above and beyond what could reasonably be expected.
For more information and to request a nomination form for the University Medal award, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Under no circumstances should you indicate to a candidate that you have it in mind to make a proposal.
Nominations should contain details of the nominee, and a supporting statement outlining the reason you consider the award would be appropriate. Please feel free to attach any further biographical details or evidence from a third party to support your nomination.
Completed nomination forms should be forwarded to Mark Hollingsworth in the Rutland Building.
