Student’s Union wins Best International Experience

Loughborough Students’ Union has been named number one for international experience at the NUS Internationalisation Awards.
The SU picked up the gong for Best International Experience at the inaugural awards which celebrate students’ unions across the UK that aim to improve the lives of international students as well as create an international experience for all.
Supported by the UK Council for International Student Affairs, Loughborough received the award for its ‘Experience the World’ initiative, which aims to provide all of Loughborough’s students with continual and varied international perspective programmes.
Such programmes under the initiative include Enjoy the World, Explore the World, Save the World, and Play the World. All programmes have sought to encourage diversity and globalisation on campus through one-off events, study and work abroad programmes, volunteer abroad projects and the exchanging of cultures and traditions.
