Podiatry

We offer appointments with a state registered podiatrist. Podiatry is the treatment of foot, ankle, leg and knee injuries by altering lower limb function.

What to expect

  • We have an experienced Podiatrist
  • Our clinic offers a range of excellent treatment areas including 2 private rooms
  • Whilst podiatrists assess and treat the lower limb for biomechanical deformities and musculoskeletal injuries, due to the interaction of the foot with the lower limb, podiatrists are often involved in the treatment of injuries affecting the lower back, hips, knees and shins.

What to bring

As we may need to assess not only your feet but lower leg please wear a pair of shorts – there is no need for footwear.

Our services

Our podiatrist can analyse the way someone’s foot strikes the ground and evaluate the chain of motion of the major joints in the leg from the ground up. By analysing the way that someone walks and runs, a podiatrist can assess whether or not there are any mechanical reasons that may be contributing to an injury. Podiatrists use a variety of methods including:

  • Orthotic insoles
  • Footwear
  • Exercises
