Sexual Violence in Higher Education Conference

Sexual violence is a problem encountered by Higher Education Institutions around the world. The increasing number of students disclosing incidents of sexual violence has created challenges both in ensuring the best possible support and response for survivors and in tackling the culture and behaviour associated with sexual violence.

Loughborough University will be hosting a conference on Monday 19th March which will discuss the issue of sexual violence in Higher Education. With contributions from a number of keynote speakers working in the area of sexual violence, the conference will provide the opportunity to explore issues ranging from the neurobiological response to sexual violence, victim blaming culture, online and anonymous reporting processes and collaborative working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
