Future Leaders Programme
Following the success of the Future Leaders Programme 2015/16, we are happy to announce that we have started the recruitment process for this year’s programme.
Our innovative programme offers senior academic and professional service colleagues (Grade 8 and above) the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. This will be achieved through problem based learning with a clear focus on leadership in higher education.
The programme will consist of
- Face to face sessions
- Problem based project work (in groups)
- Mentoring from the senior team
- Action learning sets
- Opportunities for work place coaching
Dates for the programme:
- Day One - Tuesday 12th September 2017
- Day Two - Tuesday 12th December 2017
- Day Three - Monday 12th February 2018
- Day Four - Tuesday 17th April 2018
- Day Five - Monday 16th July 2018 - Final Project Presentations
You must be available for all the dates in order to take part in the programme.
There is likely to be some required reading and research during the programme and there is an expectation that you will work within a group as part of a project. So please note that you will need to allow time for these activities.
Anyone wanting further information should contact Siobhan O’Reilly Deputy Director of Human Resources (Staff Development) on 223738 or firstname.lastname@example.org

These individuals may already be working at AD level and aspiring to become Dean or they may be aspiring to become AD or other senior leadership roles within the School within the next 18-24 months. They will already be working at a Grade 8 level and together you will explain why you think this person has leadership potential and how you think they need to develop in order to fulfill that potential.
