Here you will find a comprehensive list of all the courses offered by Staff Development to support university staff. The majority of our courses are bookable via my.HR*, but a few are offered via 'Learn' 'Marshalls' or Cardinus and these are clearly shown in the expandable lists below.

*NOTE: when you click on a course title, you will be taken to the log on window for my.HR or other learning provider, once you have entered your university user name and password, the course you selected will appear.

Bespoke and Tailored

We offer teams, departments, Schools or Professional Services a number of different tailored services on request:

  • tailor our existing courses or programmes for you
  • bespoke design, delivery and evaluation service
    • away day design and facilitation
    • team building and development
  • liaise with external providers
  • advise and act as broker with relevant internal expertise and set up your training
  • refer you to a more appropriate source of help

Some examples of the sorts of courses we regularly run specifically for a School, department, Professional Service or team include, but are not limited to:

If you want us to design and facilitate an event for you, our lead time is usually a minimum of around six weeks, so we suggest you arrange an initial consultation sooner rather than later. We'll usually suggest we book dates at this point, even if they later have to be changed.
