Databases
Select Databases allows you to search the databases of your choice through Library Catalogue Plus. Just search for the database by name, keyword or subject category and add to your selection. Use Select Databases for a Full List of Databases Available, including links to those which are not searchable within Library Catalogue Plus.
Off-campus access may require the use of your Athens username and password or a separate username and password. It may also require installing the University's Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.
Please note that users of the databases are expected to abide by the University's Acceptable use policy which states that "Users of services external to the University are expected to abide by any rules and codes of conduct applying to such services" and that "In particular, it is up to the user to check the terms and conditions of any licence for the use of software or information and to abide by them. " They are also expected to adhere to the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 which "makes it an offence to copy all, or a substantial part, which can be quite a small portion, of a copyright work".
The Online Search Service
The Online Search Service provides access to an extensive range of databases which supplement the databases searchable via Library Catalogue Plus. If you have already tried the databases on Library Catalogue Plus but have so far been unsuccessful, this service may provide the results you are looking for.
