Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for all early career PGRs. It will particularly benefit those who are just starting their PhD or those who realise that their previous reference management systems are becoming unmanageable.
Course Overview
This session will discuss the advantages of using bibliographic software for managing references. It will outline the basic functionality within RefWorks. It will also highlight the features of different products allowing you to select the most appropriate one for your needs.
Intended Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Develop a basic working knowledge of RefWorks, including simple bibliography creation using Write n Cite.
- Name different bibliographic software packages
- Highlight features important for your needs
- Compare packages
