Suggestions and Feedback

The University Library welcomes suggestions and comments about all the services we offer. We undertake to investigate each issue raised and to provide users with a considered response.
Please note that the Library may publish the replies given to any queries raised, but will respect the confidentiality of the individuals concerned.

If you wish to comment or to suggest a service improvement, you may use any of the following ways:
By using Ask a Librarian, the Library's electronic enquiry service.
Ask a Librarian exists to answer both information enquiries and any comments you may wish to make about the quality of our service. You will normally receive a reply within two working days.
By contacting your Academic Librarian or Library Liaison Officer
Each school has its own Academic Librarian and Library Liaison Officer who will be able to provide help and assistance.
By telephone
If you have any comments on the Library service, please ring (01509) 222341 (Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm) and you will be transferred to an appropriate member of staff to deal with your comment or complaint. If your query relates to your loans, you may wish to contact the Library Issue Desk directly on (01509) 222361.
By speaking to a member of staff at any of the service points in the Library.
They will try to resolve your query there and then but, if necessary, will refer your comment to another member of staff who can deal with the issue. If an answer cannot be given immediately, you will be contacted about the matter within the next two working days.
By completing a Library suggestion card.
Suggestion cards are available from the Information & Enquiries desk on Level 3 of the Library. Completed cards should be placed in the suggestions box on Level 3.
Please remember to include your email address on the form. We undertake to reply within two working days.
