Now your server has been migrated to the pod we have installed Symantec netbackup client to allow the backing up and restoring of individual files. You can restore files from the command line using /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bp. This utility has a built in help system that should be referenced for detailed instructions on its use.

We also backup the server as a whole for server recovery in a major disaster scenario.

We have also installed VMware tools that will allow us to manage your server for fault tolerance and energy efficiency.
