Email Filtering Guidance

Overview

The University employs several types of filtering to inbound email, including (but not limited to) several in-house, Open Source and/or commercially available anti-spam, anti-virus and anti-malware systems. As part of our day-to-day operations, usually prompted by reports from end users, IT Services staff may infrequently analyse messages which are passing or have been passed through the system to ensure that these systems work at their best in order to ensure inappropriate or dangerous content is not delivered to end users.
