Planned IT Upgrade

The University is investing £1.3M in upgrading essential IT infrastructure.

How will the works affect me?

All University IT Systems will be unavailable during this upgrade (including telephones and printers), you will be able to continue to work on your computer offline accessing only local (My Documents) files. 

Timescale

The upgrade will begin at 15:00 on Wednesday 11th July 2018, with an expected finish time of midnight. iTrent (my.HR, E-Payslips and Web Recruitment) will be unavailable from 2pm. 

Services should be considered as at risk the following day. We will be restoring and testing LUSI functionality as first priority ready for important exam board meetings running on Thursday morning.
