Here at Loughborough we have two well-established pension schemes for you to benefit from:

Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) - Employees grade 6 and above

Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) - Employees grade 1 - 5

Important information

We contractually enrol employees (except casual claims positions) into the relevant pension scheme from the first day of their contract.

Claims positions are strictly controlled around the criteria for the governments Workplace Pension arrangement - Automatic enrolment (AE). Employees are entered into the relevant scheme if they trigger the AE criteria.

If you do not want to be in the pension scheme, please contact your pension provider for further information.
