When will my payslip be available in my.HR?

Payslips will be available on the relevant pay dates.

How do I access my payslip?

my.HR is available via the Staff pages section of the University homepage: www.lboro.ac.uk.  Under ‘General Information’ select my.HR. You will be prompted to enter your username and login credentials. You will be able to select ‘Payroll’ and then ‘Latest Payslip (pdf)’. To view your payslip select ‘Download’.

If you do not know your username or password, you should contact IT Services directly on 222333

Can I forward my payslip to an e-mail address?

You may choose to forward your payslip to your e-mail account via my.HR. To do this you will need to navigate to Payroll and then E Form Preferences. You should complete your e-mail address and create a password and click the save button.  Navigate to Latest Payslip (pdf). Here you can select ‘E-Slip’ to e-mail it to yourself. You will receive an e-mail with an attachment. When you open the attachment you will need to input the password you created. This will then show your payslip which you can save or print as appropriate.

Can I still be sent a printed payslip?

Providing the parallel run is successful, it is our intention to replace paper payslips with electronic ones early in 2013.  This is part of a value for money project from which significant savings will be achieved through the reduction in printing and distribution costs. 

In addition to financial savings, there are many benefits to individuals in having their payslips delivered via my.HR, such as

  • ease of access (less chance of them going astray)
  • ease in comparison to previous months,
  • reduced carbon footprint by using less paper and power in the process
  • reduction in number of queries or requests for duplicate copies

What can I do if I don't have access to a computer?

Computers are available across campus for your use and can be accessed with your staff username and password – please see the list of locations which can be found on the campus map:

  • Haslegrave
  • Design School
  • Stewart Mason Postgraduate Lab
  • James France
  • Chemical Engineering

Who do I contact if I cannot access my payslip?

If you have any access issues, please e-mail itrentadmin@lboro.ac.uk or telephone 222166 with details of the problem

Can I access my payslip from home?

Yes. This can be accessed via the Staff pages section of the University homepage: www.lboro.ac.uk.  Under General Information, select my.HR (off campus access) and enter your user name and login credentials.

Where do I go for help and support?

Within my.HR, online training video’s and guidance notes are available. If you are really struggling with this, please let your Manager know.

Can my payslip be sent to me by email automatically each month without having to access my.HR?

Currently, you will need to access my.HR every month and click on the epayslip button if you wish to email it to yourself.

How long will payslips remain available in my.HR?

You will be able to view payslips for the last 3 complete tax years.

What happens if I leave the University? Can I still access my payslips?

You will be unable to access my.HR after your leave date therefore your payslip will be emailed to you and will be password protected. Please update your email address and create your own password in the E-form preferences tab to ensure that your payslip is sent to the correct address. Your email address can be a personal address or your Loughborough University email address which you will have access to for 30 days from your leave date.

Will Banks and Building Societies accept e-Payslips for mortgage purposes?

This has been tested with a local bank who found them to be fully acceptable. It is also common practice for some mortgage lenders to contact the individual’s employer for confirmation of salary and the University would be happy to provide this information, as appropriate.
