Learning Spaces Workshop

Loughborough University is currently investing in developing and improving informal learning spaces across the Campus. Many other UK universities are engaged in similar activities. The University’s Corporate Services, IT Services and Library jointly organised a national workshop on the 21st April 2015 to explore with others the various issues and options.

Throughout the day, tours of informal learning spaces across campus took place as well as two workshops that explored the factors that make up informal learning spaces and various scenarios on designing these space. There were around 80 people from across the UK and beyond who attended and who were very appreciative of the experience!
