Centre for Academic Practice Graduate Intern Position
The Centre for Academic Practice is now looking for a Graduate Intern for the 2015 / 2016 academic year.
Applications from Loughborough University graduates are encouraged (all applicants should have graduated in 2014 or 2015).
The role is to provide support to the Centre for Academic Practice team by working on various work strands, including E-Learning, Quality Enhancement and Accredited Course Provision, as well as contributing to Marketing and Communication of the work of the Centre for Academic Practice. There will be a particular emphasis on support for Loughborough University, London, LUL. This is a one year training and development programme and incorporates further development opportunities from the courses run by the Centre for Academic Practice and Staff Development.
It is anticipated that during this placement, the successful candidate would gain a good appreciation of all aspects of the work of the Centre for Academic Practice , in particular gaining experience in the use of technology-enhanced learning tools and staff support. He/she will develop presentational skills and analytical and report writing skills in the analysis of qualitative data. He/she will gain administrative and marketing skills in the organisation of events. He/she will gain experience of how a large organisation works and in communicating with a wide range of people across the institution.
