Loughborough is hosting a Special Interest Group seminar on Engaging Assessment for RAISE, the network which focuses on Raising, Advancing, and Inspiring Student Engagement.
The free event on Monday 20 April from 10am-3.30pm is focused on how assessment can engage staff and students in meaningful learning connected across degree programmes. We are fortunate to have Professor Jonathon Green, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor for Education at the University of Birmingham as our keynote speaker.
Seminar delegates will be looking to develop a route-map for creating engaging assessment during the day by sharing experiences and knowledge. Assessment is a key part of higher education and we are keen to encourage Loughborough staff and students to take part in the day, whether members of RAISE.
A special edition of SEEJ, the Student Engagement and Experience Journal will focus on the contributions, outcomes and discussions from the event.
