Dr Katryna Kalawsky appointed as the University’s Postgraduate Research Student Development Officer
In her new full-time role, Katryna will contribute to the strategic objectives of the University by supporting the development of postgraduate research students. This will encompass the design, promotion, delivery and evaluation of training and development programmes, through both face-to-face and blended learning.
She said: “It is really exciting to have been offered this role. As a former Loughborough University Postgraduate Research Student, Research Assistant, Postdoctoral Researcher (x3), Teaching Fellow, Athena SWAN Project Officer, and Research Staff and Student Development Officer, I understand first-hand the importance of offering Postgraduate students at all stages a wide portfolio of opportunities and transferrable skills to enhance their professional development and employability. Moreover, I’m really looking forward to fostering and embedding a research informed, evidence-based approach to researcher development and enhancing the University’s Postgraduate student experience”
