What is the Food Diary System?
The food diary system is an easy to use, online tool designed to help you keep track of your eating habits.
Once you have registered to use the system you are provided with a choice of three diet themes (see below). Select a theme that most closely matches your diet goals.
Each day you select the foods you eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and as snacks. The food diary system will not only highlight foods that match your diet theme but will also provide additional detailed nutrient information about these foods and track your nutrient intake against GDA (Guideline Daily Amounts).
Guideline Daily Amounts (GDAs) are a guide to the amounts of calories, sugar, fat, saturated fat and salt you should try not to exceed every day to follow a healthy balanced diet. These vary depending on your age, gender and how active you are.
The food diary system enables you to view your intake by day and week view and provides charts which breakdown your nutrient intake and benchmarks these against your GDAs.

What are the Diet Themes?
The Shape Up Diet
The Shape Up diet helps your body to maintain balanced blood sugar levels - the secret to successful, sustainable weight loss.. If you eat sugary or refined foods like white bread or biscuits, they release their sugar very quickly to raise blood sugar levels dangerously high.
Food for the Brain
The Food for the Brain diet helps you choose meals which will actively support your studies by providing the right nutrients to fuel optimal brain function, including memory, concentration, mood and mental clarity. The perfect pre-exam diet to make the most of your revision efforts.
Stay Healthy
Follow a healthy diet to provide your body with the range of nutrients it needs for you to look and feel your best. Our Stay Healthy Dishes have been chosen for their fruit or vegetable content to boost your levels of vital vitamins, minerals and phyto (plant) nutrients, supporting your immune system in its fight against infection. The Stay Healthy diet also avoids sugar, which aside from putting on weight and draining energy levels, compromises the immune system.
How to register
Registration is quick and easy. Your GDAs are based on your weight, height, gender and activity, you need to register these details with us and select the Diet Theme you would like to follow.
