Postgraduates

Can I purchase individual meals in the halls of residence?

Yes. You can buy a diners+ card. This can then be used to purchase meals at many of our retail outlets on campus.

Do you guarantee me a place in halls of residence?

Depending on availability, the University gives priority for accommodation to International Postgraduate students. As we can only make an offer once your place at Loughborough has been accepted, we may not always be able to offer you your first choice of accommodation - your preferences will be used as a guide by our accommodation team.

How do I apply for a place in halls of residence?

Once you receive an offer of an academic place at Loughborough, you will be able to apply for accommodation. Please ensure that you browse the halls before starting your application.

You can select up to 3 hall preferences online from April. To use the online process you must first register by entering your details and creating a username and password to login. Further information can be found on our how to apply page.

How long can I stay in halls?

All Postgraduate University hall accommodation is on a 50 week let: accommodation is provided from September to September.

How will I receive my offer?

We start allocating Postgraduate accommodation from mid-May. Any offer of accommodation will be sent via the email recorded with your contact details on your application to Loughborough. This offer must be viewed and accepted online, no paper copies will be posted out.

Accommodation is limited and can only be offered once your academic place at Loughborough has been confirmed and you have been issued with a Loughborough University Student ID number (eg. B******).

What If I have changed address since applying?

It is important that you let the University Postgraduate Taught Admissions Office know of any changes of address or email contacts. They can be contacted on +44 (0)1509 222496.
