Laura Penrose
Laura has worked in student advice at Loughborough for around 12 years, mainly in the area of money advice for students. Laura regularly attends the university open days giving advice about finance and funding to prospective students and their parents. Laura specialises in finance and housing advice.

Louise Waldron
Louise is the International Student Advisor. She has been working in international student support for more than 8 years and in her current role since 2004. Louise also works on a range of other international student support activities with colleagues from across the university and outside organisations such as HOSTUK.

Andy Deane
Andy has worked in the advice sector for over 20 years, beginning at Nottingham Citizens’ Advice in 1990. He joined the advice service at Nottingham University shortly afterwards and switched to Loughborough in 2001. Andy specialises in housing and immigration advice.

Arti Ruparelia
Arti started working at the Loughborough students advice (in the student union) since 2002, as an administrator. Since then she has undertaken various roles in helping students at the university and in the last few years undertaken the role of Student Adviser. Arti specialises in immigration and finance advice.

Martin Matthews
Martin joined the University in January 2010. He has previously worked for Citizen’s Advice, as a Social Fund Inspector, Loughborough Students’ Union advice centre and at a solicitors firm before returning to campus life. Martin specialises in immigration matters and Student Finance.
