Management Development Qualifications

Staff Development currently offer the following ILM accredited programmes, these are designed and delivered in-house to ensure they are Loughborough specific. See below for a brief summary of the ILM programmes, for more information please click on each of the headings.
The Award in Team Leading is a concise qualification ( 3 days in total, one day a week over 3 weeks ) designed to give a basic knowledge of the roles, functions and responsibilities of a team leader.
Consisting of 5 full day workshops, this accredited programme is based on high impact, interactive workshops that will help you improve your management & leadership practice.
This is a concise and practical qualification made up of 5 workshops introduce the key aspects of coaching in the workplace, plus real workplace coaching and reflective practice.
The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Management has been specially designed to give practising or aspiring managers a solid foundation in their formal development in this role. This is a pragmatic programme concentrating on the theory, but also the application at Loughborough University. The full programme consists of 7 units, completed over 2 - 3 years, it is possible to complete single units of this programme (lasting 2 - 4 days) however these will not be accredited. In order to gain credits for the units completed you must first sign up to the full programme.

School of Business and Economics
- The Loughborough MBA
- PMDC's Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Management and Leadership for those working in Higher Education Administration
Unfortunately, Staff Development cannot fund individuals to complete School of Business and Economics or PMDC programme fees.
