Volunteers needed for diabetes study

Would you be a willing participant in a world-leading research study at Loughborough University?

Male participants are required for a study looking at the influence of short duration exercise on reducing the risk of type two diabetes.

Volunteers must be able and willing to exercise for short periods of time at high intensities.  Participants must be within the age range of 18-50 years old and have a body mass index of above 27 – defined as obese. They must also have no history of any cardiovascular/metabolic diseases such as diabetes, be a non-smoker, not taking any anti-inflammatory medications and not regularly active.

All travel costs will be reimbursed and volunteers will receive a detailed health screening and a full comprehensive assessment of their personal fitness.
