Bounce into the record books at Loughborough University

Volunteers are needed to take part in a unique Guinness World Record attempt at Loughborough University to celebrate the Olympic Torch’s journey through the campus.

Loughborough graduate Becky White, founder of onesixeight:fitness, is hoping to smash the world record for the most people bouncing simultaneously on mini trampolines.

To achieve her goal she needs more than 300 people with their own mini trampolines to sign up.  The record attempt will take place on Tuesday July 3 at the campus.

Speaking about the ‘Bounce-athon’, Dr Anne Mumford who is coordinating the University’s leg of the Olympic Torch relay said: “This will be a really fun event, helping to mark such a momentous occasion in the history of the University and the town.

“Please sign up and be part of this unique record breaking attempt.”
