Turning the Olympic vision into a reality – guest lecture at Loughborough University

An exciting opportunity to hear from one of the key construction companies responsible for creating the London 2012 Olympic venues is on offer at Loughborough University.

This one-off public lecture, entitled ‘London 2012 – Construction success’, has been organised in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the University’s School of Civil and Building Engineering.

Taking place on Wednesday 2 November 2011 at 2pm, the lecture will be given by Doug Gillespie, Head of Programme Management for the London 2012 project at Macean international consultancy and construction company.  Mace is part of the CLM consortium, which was chosen by the Olympic Delivery Authority to create all the infrastructure and venues for the Games.  This includes:
