Top Financial services company sets its sights on Loughborough students

Computer Science students at Loughborough University are set to benefit from £2000 worth of sponsorship prizes thanks to a new partnership with a leading financial services company.

Credit Suisse has pledged the money after choosing Loughborough University as one of just 10 leading UK universities where it will focus its recruitment drive. As well as the student prizes, Credit Suisse will also provide guest lecture material discussing real world case studies.

Russell Lock runs the course at the University and is delighted that this major business has chosen to work with Loughborough. “It is great news that Credit Suisse has singled us out to work with and it demonstrates the kind of role that industry can play in ensuring our courses meet the needs of today’s employers, so ultimately this will be of a big benefit to our students.”

The Computer Science Department are now looking to build on this relationship in both teaching and research activities. Interest is also welcomed from other companies interested in working with the University and they can contact Anna Seddon, Marketing Manager (Enterprise), on 01509 223445 or email A.J.Seddon@lboro.ac.uk for further details of how a relationship could benefit their business.
