The Times league table confirms Loughborough as one of UK’s top-ranked universities
Loughborough has retained its 12th place ranking, out of 113 institutions, in this year’s Times Good University Guide, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s leading higher education institutions
In the individual subject tables, Loughborough is ranked in the top ten in 18 of the tables, and is rated number one in Building, Sport, and Librarianship and Information Management.
The Times Good University Guide, published today (19 June) is based upon eight measures of quality – student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards, student/staff ratio, services and facilities spend, completion rates, degree classifications and graduate prospects.
It is the seventh consecutive year that Loughborough has been ranked in the top 15, cementing its status as one of the country’s pre-eminent universities.
Vice Chancellor Professor Shirley Pearce said: “We are delighted that Loughborough has retained its 12th place ranking in The Times Good University Guide. It is a clear demonstration of consistent excellence in the quality of education we offer our students.”
The University’s excellent rating in The Times follows those in the recent Guardian University Guide and The Complete University Guide, in which Loughborough was ranked 10th and 13th respectively.
