Free business seminar to support region’s entrepreneurs

Local networking group, Loughborough Enterprise Club, is teaming up with emda, the East Midlands Development Agency, on 5th July to give businesses the chance to learn about current initiatives to support innovation in the region.

Two representatives from emda will be speaking at the free business event. Mirella Barnes will be presenting emda’s role in regional business support and Amreesh Mishra will discuss emda’s emerging innovation business plan.

Organised by Loughborough University Enterprises Ltd (LUEL), the monthly Loughborough Enterprise Club events offer local businesses an invaluable opportunity for networking in a supportive environment.

“Our meetings give businesses across the region the opportunity to gain professional advice and learn about initiatives that support innovative ventures and entrepreneurship,” says Jo Derbyshire, Managing Director of LUEL. “We encourage anyone starting up or growing an innovative business in the region to come along to learn how they could benefit from the excellent support on offer.”

The event takes place at 4pm on Tuesday 5th July at Loughborough Innovation Centre, located on the Loughborough University campus. Businesses in the region are welcome to attend.
