Degree show set to ‘Sparkle and Shine’

Textiles, sculpture and jewellery are just a few of the artistic genres on display at this year’s Loughborough University School of Art and Design (LUSAD) Degree Show, which will take place from Saturday 11 to Tuesday 14 June.

The exhibition, entitled ‘Sparkle and Shine’, is the showcase for the striking works of art the LUSAD students produce during their final year. Almost 270 students will display their portfolios, which show their work from conception to completion. This year’s exhibits include:

“Yet again our students have put together an absolutely fantastic exhibition, which shows real creativity and absolute professionalism,” says Colin Rhodes, director of LUSAD.

Members of the public are welcome to visit the Degree Show, which will take place at Loughborough University School of Art and Design, off Epinal Way, Loughborough. The exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm each day. Admission is free and advance booking is not required.
