PRACTICE UPDATE PRACTICE NEWS - March 2012
The practice has signed up to deliver a Patient Participation Directed Enhanced Service (DES). The purpose of the Patient Participation DES is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided and, over time, commissioned by the practice. This includes patients being involved in decisions that lead to changes to the services the practice provides or potentially will commission. In order to promote the proactive engagement of patients, the practice looked at setting up a Patient Reference Group (PRG). The initial focus of the group was to create a survey which could be distributed to the wider patient population in order to ascertain their views. The work of the group including the survey design and survey action plan is summarised in our Patient Participation Report which can be accessed via the following link: Patient Participation Report (March 2012) PRACTICE NEWS - October 2011
