John has been a Professor in the Department of Information Science since 1988. Research has always been a major focus of his career. He is a former Head of Department, Associate Dean, Dean and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and has been a member of the Council of the Arts and Humanities Research Board (now Council). He was a Panel Chair in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.

Zoe has worked for the Graduate School since April 2009. She organises the Dean's day to day activities, diary and meetings. Zoe also administers some of the Graduate School Award Funds and general enquiries.

Heather has worked at Loughborough since 1997 and in the Graduate school since its creation and brings her experience to the courses and programmes that she delivers for researcher skills development.

Eve brings her experience to offer careers advice and information to PhD students. This includes individual career consultations and specific careers workshops.
Brigette Vale

Brigette is manager of the Research Student Office which has responsibility for research student admissions, records management, studentships and examinations. The Office can provide advice on University regulations and University policy on research student matters.
Danielle Sharp

Danielle's main duties include managing the admissions process, issuing CAS certificates for visa purposes, authorising funding offers and managing the billing process. She is also involved in developmental work, particularly on the IT side.
Jill Thurman

Jill works on a range of Graduate School projects including quality assurance and administration of studentship schemes. She also works in the Research Student Office, dealing with the administration of research degrees and liaising with external bodies including the UK Research Councils.
