Domestic Services provides a range of essential services which contribute towards creating a secure and clean environment for work and study. Please contact Carole Burgess on 01509 222113 or email C.A.Burgess@lboro.ac.uk for preliminary advice or any of the following:
Caretaking - assists with all premises and the caretakers are involved with supervision, cleaning, furniture movement, room access, building access and much more.
Cleaning - service operates in all areas of the campus. Programmed cleaning takes place in both mornings and evenings dependent on the service requirements.
Window-Fabric Cleaning - services are supplied by specialist contractors.
Hygiene Services -toilet and personal hygiene services are managed by Facilities Management.
Waste and Recycling - is collected and disposed of by Facilities Management, for details of processes and guidance please see the Waste and Recycling section of our Sustainability pages by clicking here ».
Laundry - Facilities Management have recently completed an in- house contract for the laundering of garments, towels, and other sundries.
