On the 18th October 2005, the new Chaplaincy Centre in the Brockington Building was dedicated to the glory of God and for the use of staff and students of Loughborough University and Colleges. Those taking part in the  service included the Bishop of Leicester, the Rt. Reverend Tim Stevens; The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Sir David Wallace; the Deputy Mayor of Charnwood, Councillor Mike Jones; together with members of the Chaplaincy team and representatives of the various Christian Student groups. The Chinese Christian Fellowship sang a song in Chinese and then in English, much to the delight of the assembled  congregation. After the service guests took time out to look around the magnificent facilities the centre now enjoys as well as enjoying the buffet so splendidly catered for by Imago.

The Chaplains would like to thank the University for making these facilities available and to those who took part on the day. We look forward to seeing you in the Centre, whether you are a person of any particular faith or none. It is your Chaplaincy and a warm welcome awaits you.
