Key roles and responsibilities
- Writing and overseeing the delivery of the School's strategic marketing plan
- Production of brochures (writing content, editing, image sourcing, liaison with Creative and Print Services)
- Maintaining/updating the School of Science website and Department websites
- Co-odination of web development (with the Web team)
- Co-ordination of content for University prospectuses and third party advertisers
- Production of promotional materials/marketing collateral (flyers, posters, banners)
- Advertising (digital and print) via Creative and Print Services
- Support with PowerPoint presentations for student recruitment events
- Development of video materials promoting the School's activities
- Support with Open Day/Visit Day organisation
- Arranging communications with applicants via the Student Customer Relationship Management (SCRM) system
- Social networking updates through the @LboroScience Twitter and Instagram accounts
- Liaising with Public Relations on news stories
- Support with media enquiries and requests
- Promotion of events (inaugural lectures, conferences etc.)
