School of Science placement events
Each year we aim to run a placements event to put students in touch with employers.
The aim of these events are to familiarise current students with the placements process. Through the event students will be able to meet companies with placement opportunities, discuss the application process and meet past placement students to talk to them about their experiences.
The event is free to attend for companies offering placement opportunities to our students.
Every company attending will be provided with space for a small stand. Prospective students will come and talk to you about your company’s opportunities and, if you are willing, ask for comments or advice on their CVs and your application process.
Students who have returned from placement this summer will be displaying posters indicating the benefits of a placement and we will be running competitions for the best posters created.
This event is being led by Loughborough's School of Science, which includes the subjects of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
