Centre's growth leads to team building activities
17 September 2012
In recent months the Peter Harrison Centre has seen some growth as we have welcomed new staff and research students into the team. So, we thought a team building activity was in order.
Members of the PHC visited the Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre on 17th September. Firstly, we held a meeting to introduce new members, discuss the centre itself and how we can work better as a team, and to consider current research and future plans.
Then the fun part began; the raft building. We were split into 2 teams and taught how to build our own rafts and fortunately they were both river worthy! After a little practice time, we had some very competitive races and needless to say some members got a little wet.
All in all, we had a great afternoon and it was wonderful to see everyone working as a team. For more details and some hilarious photos see our winter newsletter (coming soon).
