Exciting internship/volunteering opportunities will be available at the Leicestershire Centre’s – Disability Player Development Centre and Blind Player Development Centre next season. Please see Advert
They are looking to get students involved in the programme to volunteers with football coaching/strength and conditioning and fitness/performance analysis and other positions that could support the centre delivery.
The Leicestershire County FA host two elite centre’s – the FA Disability Player Development Centre (12-16’s) and the FA East Midlands Blind Player Development Centre (12-16’s and 16 plus) for players that are deemed to possess a higher level of ability from within grassroots youth football and place them in a technical programme designed to promote individual football development and promote progression to and involvement in Regional Impairment Specific Centres of Excellence or mainstream football activity. The centres represent an opportunity for players to access higher level coaching and dedicated support.
