Situated at Loughborough, the UK’s leading Sport University, EDS is uniquely placed to improve the lives of athletes with eating problems.
We bring together leading sports scientists, academic psychologists, consultant medics, psychological therapists and dietitians to form a specialist team. Our work is underpinned by the University’s world-renowned expertise in eating disorders, sport and exercise.
The centre is part of the Loughborough University Centre for Research into Eating Disorders.
Disordered eating can be really detrimental to athletes’ potential. I am really pleased to support EDS as it will help athletes and coaches to tackle this worrying issue.
