The Loughborough Qualitative Digital Research Laboratory (LiQUiD Lab) is a collaborative project developed between the Departments of Social Sciences, Geography, and the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences. We engage in the new wave of innovative approaches to qualitative research - such as internet research and visual and sensory methodologies - along with established methods including ethnography, narrative, conversation and discourse analysis.

The LiQUiD Lab comprises a suite of state-of-the-art lecture, exhibition, data collection, meeting, workshop and quiet study rooms in Brockington Building. The rooms are equipped for conducting qualitative, digital and audiovisual methods and media, including high-specification PC and Mac laptops with analysis software, large widescreen workstations, data projection and audio recording equipment and numerous add-ons.
