Sponsorship for the competition is provided by various sources, either by providing monetary prizes or time and practical advice and expertise at the competition itself.
Loughborough University is the main coordinating University and uses funding provided by the ESPRC for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship transferable skills training. A number of teams from Loughborough are entered in this year’s competition, and speakers and mentors from Loughborough will also contribute.

The University of Nottingham provides organisational support, including providing and sourcing speakers, mentors and fielding a team.

The Rotary Club of Loughborough Beacon provides extensive administrative support and plays a major role in coordinating the competition, in addition to sponsoring the Best Teamwork prize.
