2012 calendar
The 2012 Competition is scheduled to run at the following dates and venues:
Competition start
Monday 2nd April 10am-1pm: Briefing Session, Video conferenced from Loughborough University
This is an opportunity to hear more about the competition, learn some finance basics in advance of the competition, ask questions and hear from previous participants about their experience. It will also be a chance for institutions to confirm team members for each team.
North West Heat
Sunday 29th April to Wednesday 2nd May: Holiday Inn, Runcorn.
East Midlands Heat
Sunday 13th to Wednesday 16th May: Holiday Inn, Sandiacre.
South West Midlands Heat
Sunday 27th to Wednesday 30th May: Holiday Inn, Coventry.
These three heats follow the same format and programme. On the Sunday evening there will be an opportunity to get to know other participants, followed by two full days (and nights) of presentations and learning through access to mentors, along with time for you to prepare your presentation for the final day. Prizes will be awarded at each heat for specific activities during the programme.
Grand Final
At which the top teams from each heat go head to head to win the top cash prize of £2000.
