The Engineering YES team (above L-R: David Scott, Loughborough Beacon Rotary; Jo Gilman Loughborough University Graduate School; Parmjit Dhugga, University of Nottingham Graduate School) were thrilled to receive national recognition for their work on this programme, being "Highly Commended" in the Enterprise Champions category at the National Enterprise Educators Awards this year. The award was presented at the Gala Dinner of the International Enterprise Educators Conference in September 2011.

David Scott, from the Loughborough Beacon Rotary and EngYES management team said:

"This award gives Engineering YES national recognition which will facilitate our ability to offer places to researchers nationwide. For Rotarians, industry supporters and sponsors, the award demonstrates that their efforts are taken seriously and appreciated by the educational establishment, helping to encourage more support in future years."
