George Koutsourakis is a PhD student in the Applied Photovoltaics group, working under the supervision of Professor Ralph Gottschalg. His research focuses on advanced spatial characterization methods for photovoltaic modules and cells.

CV

George Koutsourakis is a graduate of the school of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University Athens, choosing the streams of “Optoelecronics and Lasers” and “Nuclear and Elementary Particle Physics”. During his thesis he contributed in research in the field of optical data analysis systems for atmospheric monitoring.

He acquired his MSc “Energy and Environment” in the Physics Department of University of Patras. During his thesis he worked in the field of characterization of thin film silicon photovoltaic modules under the supervision of Professor Panayiotis Yiannoulis.
