About this event

From 1.00pm - 2.15pm, Magnus will give a talk entitled "Initiative and engagement".

From 2.30pm - 4.00pm, Magnus will present a data session entitled "A TBI patient home at the weekend with his father"

"I am currently working on interactions between a single patient (Tarik) who has suffered severe TBI (Traumatic Brain injury), his relatives and his caretakers. I have been following Tarik throughout his stay in “hospital” (through intensive care, highly specialised rehabilitation, regional rehabilitation - in different hospitals where Tarik lived) until he was moved to sheltered housing for the disabled. I will focus on “the professional practice concerning answering Tarik’s repetitive questions” and “engagement in interaction at home and in the hospital”. In the data-session afterwards I will bring data of Tarik being at home with his father."

This is event is part of the Discourse and Rhetoric Group (DARG) events series.
